Tough Enough

A long, hard granite multi-pitch line on the Tsaranoro massif that pushed free-climbing standards on remote walls. The route consists of many sustained pitches requiring sustained crack and face climbing, complex rope management and living logistics beneath the wall. The film documents the team that performed the first free ascent and presents the climb as an expedition-style big-wall objective where route-finding, hauling, and repeatedly working pitches are integral to reaching a free link-up on such a remote granite face.
