Marc-Andre Leclerc

Marc-Andre Leclerc was a Canadian rock climber and alpinist celebrated for solo ascents, frequently undertaken in winter. He came to wide attention for a string of bold, low-fi solo climbs—among them first winter solo ascents in 2016 of Torre Egger in Patagonia and the Emperor Face of Mount Robson—and he remained committed to minimal teams and direct, hard alpine objectives until his death in 2018.
