100 feet of Kneebars: Slayer 5.13c

Slayer is a first ascent of Brent Barghahn's in Little Cottonwood Canyon, and its premise is absurd in the best way: roughly a hundred feet of kneebar shuffling under a roof, with a crack in the back that pinches down to less than tips through an upside-down flare crux. Barghahn sent it in 2018, a few weeks after this footage was shot. Andy Earl's camera work carries the piece, moving through most of the route's sequences, though the crux itself is deliberately left out. That reticence is part of the appeal. This is a short, unfussy record of a strange and specific piece of Wasatch granite, made for people who want to see what a hundred feet of kneebars looks like rather than hear anyone explain it.
