Alex Megos works Bibliographie at Céüse, the line Ethan Pringle bolted in 2009 just right of Biographie, from June 2017 to the first ascent on August 5, 2020, roughly sixty days across three years. He proposed 9c. After Stefano Ghisolfi's repeat in 2021 the grade settled at 9b+.

This is for climbers who want to see the arithmetic of linking a hundred desperate moves: a powerful opening, a boulder problem in the middle, a long sustained finish, and almost no rest anywhere. Patagonia's crew shoots Céüse the way the wall deserves. Skip it if you have not seen Rotpunkt. Seventeen minutes assumes you know who Megos was before he learned to project.

What works is skin. The film treats skin management and doubt as the two real obstacles, and the shots of Megos taping and waiting are as tense as the climbing. The moment of the send carries real weight. What it gets wrong is the downgrade. The film was released in 2021 presenting the route at 9c, and the consensus moved to 9b+ that same year. It is not the film's fault, but it dates the claim.

Excalibur, The North Face film on Stefano Ghisolfi's 9b+ in Italy, is the direct comparison: same grade tier, two years of work, twenty-eight minutes. Excalibur has the harder route. Bibliographie has the better film, because it lets the failures breathe.
