World's Hardest Flash - Adam Ondra Climbs 5.15 (9a+) First Try

Eleven minutes on one attempt, and one of the most instructive climbing clips online. On February 10, 2018, Adam Ondra flashed Supercrackinette, a 9a+ at Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux that Alex Megos first climbed in 2016, meaning he climbed it clean, bottom to top, first try. This is for climbers who want to see how route inspection and rehearsed moves become a one-try send on sustained 5.15 terrain. The route has no single crux, just 25 to 30 hard moves through an overhang into an awkward 8b+ crack, and the film lets you watch Ondra read all of it from the ground. Skip it if you want more than the attempt. There is no history of the route and little about why the flash mattered beyond the fact that it had no precedent.

What works is the pacing on the lead. You can see where Ondra slows down and where he commits, and the difference is the whole lesson. What it leaves out is Megos. His first ascent gets a mention and the film moves on.
