Chironico

Chironico is a village in the Leventina/Faido area of Switzerland’s canton of Ticino, sitting at roughly 786 m elevation, and it forms part of the Ticino bouldering landscape prized for compact granite fields and steep, technical problems. Climbers travel here to work hard compression, contact strength and precision footwork on short, powerful sequences; the place is often paired in coverage with nearby Cresciano and other Ticino sectors that together shaped modern European bouldering.
