3x 8C Flash in 2 Weeks

Three 8C boulder problems flashed inside a fortnight in Switzerland: Lions' Share, Celestite, and Emotional Landscapes, the last of them a Klem Loskot classic from 2002 that Ondra calls his proudest flash. Beta came by video call from Jakob Schubert and Mischa Piccolruaz, which he is upfront about, and the edit includes the near misses alongside the successes.

There is no narrative arc here beyond trying very hard, which is the appeal. It is a pure bouldering video: attempts, screaming, the strange calm of walking up to a problem you have never touched and getting exactly one honest attempt at it. Ondra also uses the video to argue about flash ethics and what counts as touching holds before you pull on, which is worth the detour.
