Distance

Distance is a boulder problem in the Coop sector at Rocklands, in South Africa's Cederberg Mountains, graded 7C. It starts crouched under a large, flat rail hold and climbs the sandstone face from there. At 7C it sits in the upper-middle range of the valley's difficulty spread: hard enough to demand precise footwork and body tension, but well below the area's hardest test pieces.

History

Published sources give little history beyond the grade and sector. Online route logs credit the line informally to a climber known only as Martin, with no confirmed full name or first-ascent date, so no firm first-ascent record can be given here.
