El Corazon is a boulder problem at the Dihedral Boulders in Rocklands, South Africa, graded 8B (also cited elsewhere as V13). Shaped like a tall, orange heart on the rock face, it combines powerful moves low on the wall with more technical sequencing higher up, typical of the valley's steeper sandstone lines.

History

Daniel Woods made the first ascent on July 5, 2008. It has stood since as one of Rocklands' recognized 8B benchmarks, the kind of line strong visiting climbers point themselves at during a season in the valley.

On film

Climbing The World's Best Boulders | ft. Jorg Verhoeven & Katha Saurwein (2017), a short film from Louder Than Eleven, follows Verhoeven, Saurwein and Jon Glassberg through Rocklands. El Corazon appears among the problems the group works during the trip, illustrating the dynamic, strength-based climbing the area is known for.
